I was born and raised in the sun and sand in San Diego, California. Growing up I never had any issue being told to "go outside" - I believe that given the gift of life in southern California in the 90's and 00's meant I better juice it for everything I could. Early in my life, I began surfing (obviously) and it became the main love of my life...until drumming came along. From there, music and creativity took over.

From the age of 14 on, I always had a job. I started at a small local deli, then did my time in both the restaurant and retail sectors (should be required by law), worked as a lifeguard (of course), and worked almost every position at various bars once I moved to San Francisco.

I was the founding employee at Justuno, wearing many hats to build our small SaaS start up to $10mil in ARR. For the past three years, I've been the sole product designer, learning on the job (thanks Emre), and being trusted to manage the design and product launch of our newest version of Justuno (thanks Travis & Erik).

After 13 beautiful years living in San Francisco, I've moved back to San Diego where I live with my wife Alex and our precious pup Darla.

I'm product designer who wants to conceptualize and design products that make life better for humanity, not necessarily just "easier". I want to work with a team of diverse minds where I can grow in my formal design process and be proud of what I'm contributing.
